We cannot set up at events with a face painter, gender reveal powder, silly string, slime etc. These items will stain the bouncers. Please refer to Bubble Bounce Rules.

Bubble House/ Bounce Rules of Use

Bounce house rules must be adhered to during entire length of rental.

  • 4-5 people allowed inside in our 3m Bubble Bounce recommended ages 3-11
  • 6-8 people allowed inside in our 4m Bubble House
  • Shoes off! – Socks are welcome
  • No eating or drinking
  • No Slime
  • Strictly no face paint, silly string, confetti or glitter
  • No pets (obviously!)
  • No sharp objects this includes jewellery and watches
  • No jumping, somersault or climbing on the walls of the Bubble House/Bounce
  • No water balloons or guns
  • Adult Supervision Required
  • No smoking is allowed on or near the inflatable unit.

Liability

Bubble Bounce (and his / her representative) accepts no liability (financial or otherwise) or responsibility for any consequence arising out of the use, or misuse by the Hiring Party, of the items rented. The Hiring Party includes, their family; friends; guests and any children of any age, belonging to any of the aforementioned, whether invited or otherwise.

The Hiring Party indemnifies and absolves the Bubble Bounce (and his / her representative) completely from any and all liability and / or responsibility for any consequence, which includes:

Death; Injury of whatever nature and Damage to property, arising out of the use or misuse of the product, during the setting up; use and taking down of the Product. This includes the use and misuse of water and electricity.

Individuals with head, neck, back or other muscular – skeletal injuries or disabilities, expecting mom’s, small infants and others who may be susceptible to injury from falls, bumps or bouncing are not permitted in or on the inflatable unit at any time.

 Damages to Bubble House/Bounce

Accept full responsibility to pay for, the new replacement cost, in the event of theft or serious damage to the rented items from the time of delivery until collection.

All damages and theft incurred to rented items and motors while in possession of the hirer or his representative, will be payable by the hirer.

No children are allowed to play with or near motors. Motor must not be left in the rain or sprayed with water. Blowers should under no circumstances be exposed to rain.

General

For marketing purposes, we reserve the right to record either photographic or video footage, where any of our property is used, whether in public or in private.

Frequently Asked Questions

What surfaces can inflatables be set up on?

Our Bubble House/Bounce require a clean, flat surface and must be within 30 meters of a power source. Grass, turf or concrete is ideal and we will not set up on rocks, gravel and must be level and clear of animal waste and other debris prior to set up arrival. If your event is in the Jozi summer, temperatures can get extremely hot which can make the Bubble House/Bounce unsafe. If your event is in the Summer and outdoors the area must be shaded. We can also set up indoors if the space is big enough.

Is a deposit required?

A 50% deposit is required at booking. The final payment is due 7 days prior to your event.

Are your rentals clean and safe?

We are committed to making sure that your guests are playing in a clean, well maintained, and safe environment. Every unit is thoroughly cleaned and inspected after each use.

Can we use a water on the bounce house?

Under no circumstances should water be used with our inflatables. Water balloons, squirt guns, hoses, etc are not allowed. – Please refer to the Rules of Use

Weather

We never want to cancel your rental, but in the event of rainy or windy weather we will contact you with the next steps, to rescheduling your event. For safety, we cannot allow our inflatables to be used in the rain or with winds of 15mph or more.

Can you set up inside?

Absolutely! Our Bubble House/Bounce can be set up inside and weighted with sandbags. Please note the size and height listed for each unit when selecting your bouncer. We also need an additional 5 feet of space in the back of the bouncer for the blower. If your event is at a venue, please verify that inflatables are allowed.

Can I rent without an attendant?

Unfortunately, not. All of our rentals come with a Bubble House/Bounce attendant. This is both for our guest’s safety and for the safety of our Bubble House/Bounce to ensure the Bubble House/Bounce stays inflated, our attendant is there to allow entry and exit from the dome. This may sound unnecessary but it requires attention and we can assure you (parents) that you do not want this responsibility whilst trying to enjoy your event!

Is the Bubble House only for kids?

Absolutely not! Adults can have lots of fun in the Bubble House too. Our 4-meter Bubble House is the best choice for adults as it allows for easier entrance into the dome and more space inside! Our 3-meter Bubble Bounce with the bouncy floor is best suited for the kids.

 Terms & Conditions

Cancellation policy:

If you decide to cancel, a 14 days’ notice must be given for Bubble House/Bounce to refund you    your 50% deposit. Any cancellations within the one-week period leading up to the event are non-refundable. We appreciate your understanding.If the cancellation is made less than 48 hours before the start of your event, 100% of your payment will be held and you may reschedule for a future date.In the event the event is rescheduled or canceled prior to the 14 days, deposit will be converted to a credit to be used within a year of date of the original event. Bubble Bounce will accommodate new date pending availability.

Bookings and payments:

We work on a first come, first deposit paid, first served basis. Acceptance of our quote/invoice by way of your payment thus constitutes that you have read, fully understood and accept our terms & conditions.

Weather policy:

We do not set up in rain, thunderstorms, or excessive winds. If we need to cancel in advance of your event due to these conditions, we will reschedule your booking. If you decide to cancel due to conditions that we deem fit to set up the Bubble House, 50% of your payment will be held and you may reschedule for a future date. There are no refunds allowed after the point of delivery to your event, including due to bad weather after arrival at your venue. Bounce house and blower cannot be outdoors in rain or extreme weather. Must be un-inflated and moved into a protected area. In rain all children should exit the inflatable unit. The motor should be turned off stored indoors.

Load shedding policy

Please ensure that you make arrangements for the load shedding on the day of your hire.

Delivery/Collection and Service Areas

Bubble Bounce will deliver the house/bounce to your venue and collect once your time slot is over. Service Areas and Delivery Charges Servicing all areas in JHB. NOTE: Delivery is available to most areas in Gauteng! 15 km’s from Raceview Alberton, Johannesburg Delivery will be free. Delivery charges after 15 Km will be charged @ R4.85/Km.

Balloon Arrangements

Bubble Bounce will not be held responsible if balloon arrangements change shape, deflate, or pop due to the weather or change of temperature in venue. Bubble Bounce will not be held responsible if injury occurs due to balloon structure or arrangement falling over caused by high winds or extreme weather. Although It is common to use balloons for Outdoor events we DO NOT RECOMMEND to do so because of how unpredictable mother nature can be. If you decide to do so we highly recommend shaded areas, tent or pavilion. Latex Balloons will naturally lose their luster in outdoor climates do to oxidation of the material.
Balloon arrangements and decor should not be moved or altered after put in place. Bubble Bounce will not be responsible if arrangement is broken after being touched or moved by someone other than event decorator.

It is to be understood that unless otherwise discussed any materials used to execute the above said items belong to Bubble Bounce. If any of the materials are taken or missing when bubble Bounce returns for pick-up, the rentee will be held responsible for compensation of materials up to R500 (five hundred rand).

No changes to theme garlands chosen may be made 14 days prior to the date of the party. Any indulgence relating to a change is strictly at our sole discretion.

Bubble House and Bubble Bounce Set up

Bubble house/bounce should not be moved once inflated. Allow at least 35 mins for inflatable to be setup. If balloon decorations are added allow an additional 30 -60 mins to setup time (no charge for this setup time). Must be set up on grass, on mats or indoors on level ground. No Concrete, rocks or gravel. Do not put near fire. Do not add water to Bubble house/bounce. Bubble Bounce (and his / her representative) will not be responsible to supply extension cords; electricity. We reserve the right to cancel, on the party date on arrival at the clients premises, if the terrain in our opinion, is not suitable, taking into account the safety of the children and / or damage to the Bubble House/Bounce. Where clients are unsure of the suitability of the terrain, it is their responsibility to seek advice / consult from Bubble Bounce, prior to delivery.
